Since the ABCA feels that they need to publicly ruin reputations and businesses, we felt it was time to add some breeders to the "Raven Maniacs ABCA Wall of Shame".
John Wilson of Jefferson, Texas is being charged with two counts of animal cruelty and has had 180 dogs removed from his land in Jefferson, TX.

July's Wall of Shame is Border Collie Breeder Basher Patricia Boswell of Texas or Louisiana who considers herself number one in the breeding world of Border Collies.
The American Border Collie Association allowed this MANIAC to bash other breeders until they disappeared as her competition, and now she has basically ruined the fair dogs that she has by breeding them to UK Kennel Dogs.
How did Boswell get her breeding stock?
Most of it was traded out by Boswell.
She would send puppy customers to the bigger breeders in her area like Rodney Cotton and John Wilson, and she would get dogs, puppies, and breedings in return.
She would tell them that she would send no more customers their way if they sold dogs or puppies to certain people.
Her buddies are just as bad or worse than she is.
One is a drunk with a son in the pokey.
Boswell continuously changes her website, and it now looks like a circus of things to buy including Border Collie Puppies.
She and her cohorts had Mr. Wilson busted, and then she went on the Border Collie Boards, sponsored by the USBCHA and said his puppies just looked horrible. (Not too horrible for her, though)
Amazing that she bred to his expensive champion dog right out at the gate of his property.
Wouldn't want anyone knowing that, eh?
Her veterinarian of choice is the daughter of none other that Rodney Cotton.
Boswell is still harassing the breeders she bashed with phone calls of the stupidest nature.

You cannot find directions to her house and only a Shreveport, LA cell is listed on the site.
All of her pictures are posed. None of the dogs is ever seen at play.
None of the dogs are seen working. There are tons of puppy pictures.
The American Border Collie Association should be ASHAMED of the actions of this so-called breeder. She is definitely NOT PROMOTING the working ability of the Border Collie, but she is PROMOTING PATRICIA BOSWELL G-FORCE BORDER COLLIES, HVN'S BORDER COLLIES, and, of course, her pocketbook.

Hey, Maryann Harrison! Long time, no see! I'm honored to have been named on your wall of shame! I laughed out loud when I read your story of how my late beloved dog, Jag, came into my life. "She never misses a puppymill bust, but her first dog, Jag, came from one, she bought it at 4 weeks old, and it arrived on the plane at that age, too." What a riot! I've had dogs my whole life, so Jag was hardly my first. Jag came from the Pasadena Humane Society in California at one year old and came home in my truck and it took me 20 minutes to get there, but I think your story sounds much more ... romantic, so we'll just go with it, k? But you're right. He probably DID come from a puppymill because why else would he have landed in the pounds? But that puppymill did not get a dime of my money. It's a shame that you're still a bit sore over not being able to register any of the shit you breed with the American Border Collie Association. And you're bashing a whole bunch of other "breeders." Are you pissed that they picked up where you left off and the ABCA registers every one of their messes? Poor you.
ReplyDeleteHey Mary Ann, do you happen to know Bama Border Collies? Their website looks SO much like your masterpiece, I almost thought it was yours! It comes complete with the cheesy music, nutty animations, and the same type of wording about the dogs and how their ancestors have accomplished a ton, but nothing about what the dogs, themselves, have accomplished. The similarities are uncanny!
